Is There A Purgatory? Is

The doctrine of purgatory itself is a teaching of the Roman Catholic Church. They teach that all, with the exception of certain special saints and martyrs, must pass through purgatory (which is in a state rather than a place) to prepare to enter heaven.

This doctrine proved to be useful for the Catholic Church, but God did seem to manifest more favoritism to the rich, masses whose relatives could afford easily to get them out quickly.

Purgatory is a fiction. All biblical passages that speak of Beyond have no more than two destinations: heaven and hell:

- the broad road that leads to destruction and narrow gate that leads to life (Matthew 7:13-14 .)
- The tares cast into the oven and put wheat in the granary of heaven (Matthew 13:41-43, 49-50).
- The foolish virgins are left out and receive input wise (25:10-11): The server infidel is cast into outer darkness and faithful servant enters enjoys his Lord (vs. 21, 30) .
- The damned van fire eternal and blessed with eternal life (vs. 33-46).
- the evil rich will torment, without receiving any help from here, and Lazarus goes to Abraham's bosom (Luke 16:22-23).
- The Bible speaks of a resurrection to shame and eternal damnation and the other to everlasting life (Daniel 12:2, John 5:29). The wicked are judged and go to condemnation, the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, and the elect enter the heavenly Jerusalem.

When Christ on the Cross said "It is finished" (John 19:30) made perfect sacrifice for the remission and forgiveness of sins. Now a man is justified freely by his grace through faith in him.

The belief in a "Purgatory" renders nugatory the sacrifice of Christ and hinders their saving power. It is also a false hope for the sinner, believing that all forms will one day enter heaven through Masses and rituals that you do here, is not prepared to make the journey to eternity.

The Bible states that it is necessary that the man to die once and after trial. Jesus Christ is the one and only Savior of mankind, the salvation of the soul is for now. Come to Christ, he waits.
